How toxic is your makeup?

Many countries have made the ethical and right decision to ban the sale of ANY cosmetics that have tested on animals!! Cheers to India, The European Union and Israel!hqdefault

In this post we will be focusing on makeup brands to BAN!! Not only because these companies that test on animals  treat these poor creatures like they are just an object and don’t pay attention to the amount of pin and suffering they have to go through but because most likely the makeup you are putting on your face is also KILLING your face too!  Did you know that if you have been using Eyeliner, mascara, nail polish, eye shadow, brush-on-brow, lipstick, blushers, rouge, makeup, and foundation ALSO many hair care products, soap, lotions and more,  you are subject to Cancer and Organ system Toxicity according to “Experimental studies in female rats found increased incidence of lung tumors in rats that inhaled carbon black.” if any of the products listed above are being used by you, a friend, family member or whomever make SURE to check that they do NOT have these chemicals in them- Carbon black, D & C Black No. 2, acetylene black, channel black, furnace black, lamp black, and thermal black Coal Tar Solution, Coal, Tar, Carbo-Cort, Coal Tar Solution USP, Crude Coal Tar, Estar, Impervotar, KC 261, Lavatar, Picis Carbonis, Naphtha, High Solvent Naphtha, Naphtha DIstillate, Benzin B70, Petroleum Benzin.- These all have CARBON BLACK  and COAL TARin them!


So what exactly is Carbon Black?

Carbon black is the product of incomplete combustion of carbon-containing materials s a material produced by the incomplete combustion of heavy petroleum products such as FCC tar, coal tarethylene cracking tar, and a small amount from vegetable oil.  Literally putting tar on your eyes, eyelashes, skin and nails etc.  The color Pigment from Carbon Black is used for food packaging too and in some countries it is put in microvable containers. Luckily the use of Carbon Black in makeup in the USA and European Union is banned but still many countries use it.Carbon_black


Be sure to check any shampoos you have that are for dandruff, ecsema, psorais Coal Tar is alos  linked to higher rates of cancer in beauticians and hairdressers.
